A Sunflower Wedding at Harmony Golf Club | Port Kent, NY

I had been patiently waiting for a chance to photograph a wedding on the gorgeous grounds of the Harmony Golf Club, so needless to say I was SO excited when Olivia inquired and told me this was going to be the venue! My husband and I toured this venue when we were planning our wedding, so I knew firsthand how beautiful it was – from the ceremony site overlooking the Adirondack mountains, to the floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to flood the big open reception space – It’s definitely one of my favorite wedding venues in the area!

There were so many fun and memorable moments that happened throughout the day, but I think the one that tops them all was when Olivia and Scott shared their first dance as husband and wife with their little girl. Maybe it’s because I’m a mom now, but I was starting to lose it fast so I made sure to keep my face hidden behind my camera so no one could see tears! It was just so sweet, wait until you see the pictures!! But it wasn’t just that, that stands out to me…I knew of Olivia and Scott through a mutual friend but it wasn’t until their engagement session, that I really got to know them. Their engagement session was in May and I didn’t see them again until their wedding day, however, they didn’t stop taking care of me the entire day. THEIR DAY. When I say I have the best couples, I truly mean it. The night before the wedding I received a text from Olivia letting me know of a secluded room at the venue where I will be able to pump if need be. I was blown away. It was the night before one of the best and most exciting days of her life (aside from the day her daughter was born of course!) and she was thinking about me and what my needs might be. Cue the tears!! And it didn’t stop there…from the moment I arrived to the girls getting ready location in the morning, all the way to the reception, Olivia and Scott made sure I was hydrated, fed, and took time to pump (#momlife). I was so incredibly grateful!
