A Chilly November Wedding
I can’t believe it! My busiest wedding season to date is officially over and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to end with. I am in COMPLETE shock at how fast it all flew by, but the one thing I keep thinking about is how lucky I am to work with such great families. When you’re a wedding photographer, you don’t just work with the bride and the groom, you work with the parents, the step-parents, the siblings, the aunts and uncles, the cousins, the nieces and nephews, literally EVERYONE; and somehow I was lucky enough to have a great experience with all of my couples and their families, at least from my perspective! Hannah and Amine’s family was no different.
My time with Hannah and Amine actually started by meeting Hannah’s dad first! He was in the bridal suite writing the finishing touches on the sweetest toast he would be delivering, and I had shown up a bit early to get started with Hannah’s bridal details. It was great to be able to get to know him and he was sweet enough to offer his help with anything I needed! I got the warm fuzzies from the get-go. Hannah showed up to the bridal suite shortly after with her mom and maid of honor. It was my first time meeting her mom (she was just as sweet as her dad), but her maid of honor, Sam, has been a good friend of mine for a few years now!
The whole day was full of laughs and it felt like one big party to celebrate love, which is exactly how a wedding day should feel. Forget about Pinterest, forget about making sure every little thing goes the way you pictured, forget everything and just let the day flow the way it’s going to. That’s exactly what Hannah and Amine did, and guess what? Their day was perfect. Congratulations again you two! And thank you for allowing me to be there to party with you and your families!
