I’m so excited that this gorgeous wedding is FINALLY on the blog!! This day was amazing and one for the books for sure. I also don’t think I’ve ever been so sad to leave a wedding day knowing my time with the couple is officially over! By the end of the night, I felt like I had photographed my good friends wedding and had made a ton of new friends between the bridal party and families. Everyone accepted me and welcomed me into their circle and we all had a great time because of it!
Funny story actually about this wedding…I was in the middle of photographing family formals when one of the waitresses came over to me to ask if I wanted to try whatever appetizer she was handing out. I don’t remember exactly what it was but I quietly told her while I very much appreciated the offer, I couldn’t take it because of what it was because I was pregnant…little did I know Jackie was witnessing this whole interaction and came up and gave me the biggest hug and congratulations afterwards. From that moment on until the end of the night, she was constantly checking up on me making sure I was okay, ON HER WEDDING DAY. That’s just who Jackie is, that’s who Jackie and Ted both are. They are literally two of the nicest people you could ever meet!
From the first look, to the gorgeous venue and scenery, to the super chill and fun after party filled with s’mores, pizza and laughs, this wedding day had it all! I’m so incredibly honored that Jackie and Ted chose me to document it all and it’s a day I’ll never forget. Jackie and Ted, I wish you all of the happiness in the world and I hope our paths get to cross again someday 🙂
