This was such a fun day to be a part of! It was also my first time photographing a wedding at this particular venue. I had second shot here the month prior but it wasn’t one of my couples so it doesn’t count, ha! This day went off without a hitch, the ONLY downfall for me was the temps. Guys, it was SO HOT this day! I was sweating like crazy and the whole mask mandate thing didn’t help. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have a hot sunny day than a rain storm but I don’t do well in the heat so at the time I was probably wishing it would rain for at least 10 seconds so I could go stand in it! Luckily this venue had MASSIVE fans set up so I placed myself in front of one of those for a good two minutes and then I was ready to get back to work. Hey, you do what you have to do!

Meg and Cole celebrated their wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family, and it was a beautiful celebration to have been a part of. Meg is so laidback, like seriously so chill I remember asking her if she wanted me to stay a bit longer to take photos of them cutting the cake and she just shrugged it off like nah we’re good! It’s not often you get a bride as relaxed as Meg was, but probably my absolute favorite part of the day was when I showed her the same day slideshow. What is that you may ask? I sneak away for about 10 minutes during dinner and edit a handful of my favorite images from the day so far and then show them to the couple on my iPad. Not only was Meg’s reaction just the best, but so was her wedding party! They LOVED it and that little surprise is quickly becoming one of my favorite gifts to give couples on their wedding day.
