A Burgundy & Grey Harmony Golf Course Wedding
How is it possible that my second to last 2019 wedding has already come and gone?! This has without a doubt been my busiest season to date since starting my business and I can’t say thank you enough to all of my amazing couples and families who have allowed me to document these precious life moments for them. With that being said, let me introduce you all to Parker and Josh…
I consider these two to be in the OG #erinmariecouples club because they contacted me waaaay back in July of 2018 about their Harmony Golf Course wedding in October of 2019. I remember being so excited that someone wanted to book me that far in advance, and if I’m being honest, their love and support hasn’t wavered in the least bit from that very first inquiry email. From day 1 they have been some of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders. They shared their engagement photos every chance they got, especially for their Facebook countdown posts to the big day (with no filters might I add -HUGE plus for us photogs who spend hours upon hours editing to get a certain look!) They were totally understanding with my needs to pump for my daughter (also huge plus because they are guys!) And before they even saw their full gallery, left me an AMAZING review because they love and trust me THAT much. #clientgoals
Not only are they the sweetest couple, they are also pretty crafty! And I don’t say that lightly. They crafted almost every single piece of decor extremely successfully, no Pinterest fails here! During their engagement session, they told me they would be making the floral arrangements themselves, which was impressive but not nearly as impressive when they said it would all be wooden florals! WHAT! I can barely draw a flower let alone make a full arrangement out of wooden ones! I didn’t know what to expect and I definitely wasn’t prepared for how gorgeous they would be! The best part? I got my own mini version on my way out! I LOVE it and it’s the perfect accent piece in my living room on my coffee table 🙂 And the florals are just the start! There were SO MANY cute, subtle nods to them as a couple, like their signature drinks for example (see below!) It was so incredibly obvious that these two spent A LONG TIME thinking of how to make their day absolutely perfect for them, and their hard work more than paid off. There wasn’t a detail that was left out!
Parker and Josh, I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am that you reached out to me way back when to photograph your wedding. You were a joy to work with and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you both. I know it will be fun, whatever it is 🙂 Congrats again you two!
