I remember meeting up with Emily and Jake at Emily’s family home and immediately feeling like I was meeting up with some old friends. I felt like we had so much in common, like the fact that they both are in the photo/video world! They actually met at an advertising agency as TV producers which Jake still is today! Emily is now a talented interior designer based in Boston. To say these two are talented in their fields is an understatement and I felt so privileged that I was the one they decided was going to capture their wedding day. What an honor! They are also dog people which is always a plus in my book 🙂
This was such a cold session, towards the end of the session we talked about maybe going back inside to warm up a bit before grabbing the last couple of shots. I convinced them I could work quickly and efficiently and we ended with a bang! This is just one reason why having a strong posing playbook is KEY for success! We got SO MANY GOOD SHOTS in not a lot of time which I know they appreciated.
It was so hard to pick my favorites for this post, I honestly wanted to post them all! I imagine I’ll have an equal if not harder time trying to pick my favorites for their wedding blog post 😉
