A white & green summertime wedding at Brookside Barn
I remember the feeling of joy and accomplishment flooding through my tired body as I walked through my front door after I returned home from this wedding. It was my first wedding after having baby Caroline and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to make it. I was getting so much anxiety as I watched the calendar days count down to the wedding day of Charlee and Jake, but also to the birth of my second baby girl. I found myself asking out loud, “Which will come first?”
I ended up reaching out to Charlee towards the end of April letting her know my thoughts and that if something were to not go as planned, that she and Jake would be more than taken care of with the multiple photographers I had lined up to take my spot. I was filled with so much anxiety sending that email but in true Charlee fashion, she was so gracious and completely understanding. I am so lucky to have my path cross so many incredible humans. So, so lucky!
Charlee and Jake, it was an honor capturing your day. It was filled with so much laughter and it was a great way to get right back into wedding season after baby #2! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, of being each others best friend, confidant, and each others person, forever and ever. Congratulations!
