A Humid June Boathouse Wedding
I have a few Friday and Sunday weddings this year which I am so excited about. I love when my couples decide to switch it up and celebrate their day on a “nontraditional” weekday. However, I’m so incredibly thankful Ashley and Brandon decided on a Saturday. Unbeknownst to them when they picked their date, Saturday, June 22nd ended up being the nicest day of the weekend, with threats of a tornado and downpours following for the next few days.
The silver lining to their post wedding day weather was the impending storms meant we got beautifully diffused light for the majority of their day and I was living for it. I love their portrait gallery so much and it’s because I had free reign to photograph them wherever I wanted. It was amazing and I’m so incredibly happy mother nature held out for these two. From the vibrant summer florals to the gorgeous Birdy Grey bridesmaid dresses and the beautifully decorated Valcour Boathouse, this wedding screamed summer and I am so thankful I got to be a part of it.
Ashley and Brandon, you two are the sweetest couple and I loved getting to be a part of this chapter and witnessing your celebration of love. It was truly one for the books! Congratulations again!
