Shannon and Ryan are one of my sweet 2021 couples that decided to do a small intimate celebration first, and hold off on having their big celebration for 2022. I’m crossing my fingers so hard that they will still be able to stick with their original plan but if nothing else, they had a beautiful backyard wedding this past summer and I’m so glad they asked me to be there with them!
I LOVE backyard weddings. They are so beautiful and unique to each individual couple, and they are usually much more flexible than traditional weddings in terms of what is and isn’t allowed. For Shannon and Ryan, that meant they were able to have their two fur babies along with them as they said “I do” and honestly as a pet owner myself, I completely understood how special that was for them. One risk you always run however is dealing with less than ideal weather day of. Luckily, these two had the most perfect summer day to say their vows in front of their closest friends and family.
