A backyard family session | Albany, NY
This was an incredibly sweet session and one I was so fortunate to capture. Joie and I have known each other since our college days, which now that I think about it, our friendship started around 14 years ago!!
To know Joie is to love her, she was always the mom of our group so when I found out she was to be an actual mom, the first thing that came to mind was how incredibly lucky that baby was going to be to have Joie as their Momma. I’ve never been more excited for a 2 hour drive in my life, I couldn’t jump in my car fast enough when the day for their session finally came! Not only could I not wait to meet her new baby girl, but I hadn’t seen Joie or gotten one of her famous hugs in YEARS. The trip was long overdue and I was just so happy with what we were able to capture together.
Joie, your friendship means the world to me and I love how no matter how much time passes, we always pick up right where we left off. Seeing how much the two of you not only love on that beautiful baby but each other as well, makes me so incredibly happy and proud of the life you’ve built together. Keep reaching, keep crushing, keep loving, keep being you because you’re one of a kind. Love you so much!!
