A summer micro wedding at the North Hero House
Operation “Catch up the EMP blog” continues with Amanda and Bryan! I remember this being the start of my love for micro weddings which became super popular after Covid reared it’s ugly head at the world. If you aren’t familiar, micro weddings are basically just full weddings on a much smaller scale in terms of guest count.
“So it’s an elopement?” You might say. Not quite.
Elopements are usually just the couple and a witness, so somewhere between 3-5 people. A micro wedding will usually have about 25-50 people making it a perfect compromise between a traditional wedding with a large guest count, and an elopement.
After I photographed this micro wedding, I had more and more inquiries pop up in my inbox, even still to this day, and I love it! The emotion and intimacy of micro weddings is so special and meaningful, and sometimes with the smaller guest count, allows the couple to feel much more present with their loved ones.
