Okay you guys, this is probably one of the top 10 most exciting days of my life! It’s launch day for the online home for Erin Marie Photography! If someone came up to me when I was in High School and told me that one day I would have this big dream to start my own photography business, well, I would have believed them! However, if they would have told me that one day I would make that dream a reality, NO WAY. I was beyond shy in High School and the last thing I thought I was capable of doing was running my own business. Honestly, that wasn’t even on my radar of things I wanted to do. For the longest time, I wanted to be a Veterinarian because of my love for animals and my passion for wanting to help them.
I always thought the “correct life path” looked a little something like this: Graduate High School – 4 years (or more) at a University – Then immediately enter into the 9-5 workforce so I could be a self-sufficient member of society. Wake up, go to work, go home, repeat. In my mind, the whole idea of being an entrepreneur was for those brave and adventorous enough to make that sort of lifestyle happen for themselves; not shy people like me. BUT HERE I AM! Chasing my dream of owning my very own successful photography business one session at a time! This has my heart racing and happy tears in my eyes. If you’re still reading this, thank you so much! Just you taking the time out of your day to be here means everything to me!
From here on out, I’ll be using my blog to share the sessions that I photograph along with some of my favorite images to go along with them. I’ll share parts of my own life from time to time, and eventually I would love to get to the point where I am able to help out new business owners by sharing my learning experiences in this new chapter of my life. I want to help those that need it and want it, just like I did (and still do!) because at the heart of it all, I love to help people and I love to make people happy.
For now, I’ll leave you with this – If you want something bad enough, you’ll find a way to make it happen for yourself. If it sets your soul on fire and makes your heart skip a beat, then you owe it to yourself to chase that feeling. If you work for it, you’ll achieve it. Guaranteed.
