If you’ve been following me on social media and / or are a regular blog reader of mine, (first of all, THANK YOU) secondly, you will recognize the beauty in this post as my #michaelschallenge partner in crime, Katie! You can read all about our fun with that challenge here!
I was so excited to meet up with Katie and Eric this past Saturday for their engagement session! They wanted to have their session around the grounds of a farm / museum owned by Eric’s family in Peru, the Babbie Rural & Farm Learning Museum. I had never been there before but from the pictures I saw online, I knew it would be beautiful and I was not wrong! The grass was perfectly manicured; there was a gorgeous white wooden fence behind the museum that served us really well; and there were some great tractors around the property that added the perfect touch to this rural engagement session!
I have this bad habit of saying that every client I work with is “just the sweetest couple!” or “this family is seriously the best!” or “we had so much fun together!” But guys, I’m not lying when I say those things!! I truly am so lucky to be able to work with THE SWEETEST, LOVING, AND MOST DOWN TO EARTH COUPLES AND FAMILIES!!! I won’t ever stop saying it. Especially when it comes to Katie and Eric! Katie and I hit it off immediately when we met for her initial wedding consult, but this was the first time I got to meet her fiancé Eric! He turned out to be just as nice and down to earth as Katie and even though I know he wasn’t the biggest fan of the whole picture taking process, he powered through like a champ and our time together ended up flying by! We even got the most gorgeous glow for the last part of their session. Golden hour anyone?
Katie and Eric, thank you so much for inviting me onto your property and giving me the privilege of photographing your engagement session. Enjoy some of my favorites below and I’ll see you soon for your big day!
